Dear parents,
Monkey would like to inform you about the plan to cease development on the desktop versions on Windows and MacOS platforms for the following applications: Monkey Junior, Monkey Stories, Monkey Math, and VMonkey.
1. Implementation period & policy:
From 2023 August 1st, Monkey will stop developing app versions on Windows and MacOS platforms. The new policy includes:
- Monkey will stop updating new versions on Windows and MacOS platforms starting from the day of the announcement.
- Existing versions installed on devices can continue to be used.
- Desktop versions still can be installed until the end of August 11, 2023
- Monkey's technical team will receive requests and provide support to address any issues encountered on Windows and MacOS versions until the end of August 21, 2023.
2. Parents' rights
- Customers' rights concerning the number of devices used remain unchanged, parents still can use 2 devices per day with an unlimited number of switching devices.
- Installed old versions still can be used.
- After 2023 August 21st, when logging in versions on Windows and MacOS, those devices will not be counted as devices used in a day.
3. Contact:
Monkey would like to inform customers to actively install the application version on Android and IOS systems for their children.
